Move Video Driver from Live CD to Hard Drive Installation
My 12.04 installation on an Acer E360 with Nvidia graphics works fine from the live CD but the graphics driver doesn't work when the system is installed. Is there a way to copy the driver from the live CD installation to the hard drive? I have tried both the 32 and 64 bit versions and neither works after installation.
Alternatively is there another driver I can try. The Acer website says the video chipset in the machine is the Nvidia C51G + MCP51.
Thanks
